Looking for a way to get heat into a paint spray booth. Was thinking of having some kind of heater in the intake air path but suspect It would have to be interlocked with the spray equipment if it is to be on during spraying. Mostly I want to heat the booth after spraying to dry the finishes.
    Any suggestions?

Check out these guys, http://www.indeeco.com/ just "click on" explosion-proof heaters.May be a little pricey!

Or you can try doing a "Google search" on explosion-proof heaters.
    Good luck

The ones I've worked on are heated with a make up air unit which is interlocked with the exhaust fans, mostly used while you are painting. The last booth I worked on had infrared heaters, but these are very expensive.

I think thats what we are going to do. Probably with a gas furnace with an air proving switch and a time delay to allow the ducts to purge.
